Lithuania has seen a shift from the old style (Soviet-built) apartments to newly built, furnished in a modern way apartment blocks. Over the next few years it is predicted that individual estates will become popular in Vilnius.

Vilnius Business News, March 2005, from an interview with a Vilnius Bank expert, - ‘In the next three to five years, due to the existing and emerging middle class, with their increased spending power, with expanding families, will soon shift to larger and individual housing'.

We are presenting Žalių Kalnų project. 49 homes will be built on the development, in 3 different styles: terrace, semi-detached and detached houses.

The house sizes will range between 185 and 220 m². All major construction work is planned to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2008.

To ensure a peaceful and efficiently functioning community all the house purchasers will sign a ‘Bendrijos' agreement. For example, no guard dogs or other pets will be allowed outside at night. This is to ensure the piece and quiet for all the neighbours.

All the homeowners will own the communal sites and be responsible for these areas. A management company will be employed which will be responsible to the community for the upkeep and daily maintenance.
